In 1978, Scott wrote to Lloyd Alexander seeking permission to turn the novel The Book of Three into an elementary school play…the author never responded, which Scott thinks best since the idea was never cleared with school administrators or his third-grade teacher.
Scott's been telling stories ever since, and his work has appeared at the Vancouver Fringe Festival, Oregon Fringe Festival, Austin Sketch Festival, Bumbershoot, Dublin Web Festival, HollyWeb Fest, Risk/Reward Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Fertile Ground Festival, Louisville Film and Video Festival, CHAD Chats, The Portland Comedy Film Festival, The Famous Mysterious Actor Show, and The LanceLife Comprehensive Total Life System.
Summer America Barnham's Book Club for Ladies, a web series he co-created with Holly Wigmore, won the Best Web Series Award at the 2016 Oregon Independent Film Festival.
He likes whiskey, cats, books, and writing in the garage.
